Dennis Norwood
Dennis is a Richmond area native, dedicated husband, and proud father of four that has been serving his community as a specialist in real estate sales and finance for the past seventeen years. Having an extensive knowledge of the metro area enables him to effectively guide buyers and sellers in accomplishing their goals.
Dennis helps buyers identify the factors that are most important with regard to primary buying objectives and desired home styles, size, amenities, price range, and desired location. His past experience in the finance sector is a powerful asset in helping clients understand the mortgage process and connecting them with professionals within that industry that provide quality loan products, service, and guidance.
Dennis provides sellers with the solid marketing advice and resources needed to maximize their chances of selling quickly while retaining as much equity as possible. Once the market analysis has been completed, pricing strategy is in place, and the listing is active, Dennis and his support team at One South roll into action utilizing quality photos, relevant listing description and remarks, heavy web-marketing penetration, swingpost yard signs, and full-color brochures to attract potential buyers on both a local and national scale.
For both buyers and sellers, Dennis utilizes effective negotiation skills and industry knowledge to secure the contract and close the deal while keeping his client’s best interests at the forefront the entire time.
Scott Salvant
“The best part of living in Richmond, for me and my family, is the diversity of communities in the area as a whole. Beyond the restaurants, breweries, shopping, and events, Richmond has that special mix that makes it easy for everyone to find the perfect home in their ideal neighborhood.”
Scott and his wife April are Virginia natives, having lived in the Tidewater and New River Valley areas before settling into Richmond in 2001 where they have raised their 5 children. Having met at Radford University they now have children attending Radford, VCU, and George Mason with two more about to graduate high school in the next few years.
In addition to his work serving real estate clients as a part of the Norwood-Salvant Real Estate Team, Scott serves as Executive Director of a children’s home in Port au Prince, Haiti. He also started the 3L program there, an education based community development project that affords opportunities for the poorest of children to attend school, eat a healthy breakfast, and have access to tutors and after school programs.
